Position: Research Assistant (1 POST)
Qualifications: Candidates should hold a BSc. (Agricultural Economics) or its equivalent with a minimum GPA of at least 3.5 from recognized institutions. Possession of an MSc will be an added advantage. In addition the candidate should have:-
o Excellent communication and computer skills;
o Experience in managing a team and in conducting and coordinating field research;
o Excellent attention to details;
o Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines and
o Ability to interact effectively with researchers, policy makers and diverse groups
Duties:
Assist the Principal Investigator on overall management and coordination of the project
Schedule and coordinate data and samples collection
Manage all data generated in the project
Prepare project reports and keep financial records
Procure all materials and supplies for the project
Manage and orchestrate the logistics of the different components of the study
Communicate with stakeholders
Organize workshops and trainings
Handle any other duties that the Principal Investigator will from time to time assign to him/her.
Terms; On contract terms for a period of nine (9) months.
Salary: As per treasury registrar Salary Circular No. 6 of 2015.

POSITION; COMPANY GENERAL MANAGER
QUALIFICATIONS
i. A good academic background with a minimum of Bachelor Degree in Economics/Agribusiness/Marketing / Business Administration / Engineering/ Finance from recognized Institution.
ii. A postgraduate qualification and experience in dealing with Private Public Partnership will be an added advantage.
iii. Minimum of five (5) years practical working experience.
iv. Good Interpersonal and leadership skills.
v. Self driven person, result oriented and implementer.
Duties and Responsibilities i. Responsible for day to day activities of the company. ii. Initiate and coordinate the development of Corporate Strategic Plan and oversee implementation of policies and decisions as set out by the Board of Directors. iii. To develop and recommend to the Board the corporate and business plans which would ensure growth, continuity and operations within the set policies and regulations. iv. Articulate, interpret and coordinate the implementation of corporate strategies and action plans in accordance with the vision, mission and core values of the company. v. Provide leadership while coordinating and directing corporate activities. vi. Establish and maintain a harmonious working environment which stimulates and encourages professionalism, discipline, integrity, team work and productivity. vii. Present quarterly and annual Budgets to the board. viii. Present quarterly income and expenditure report to the board. ix. Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Board of Directors and as prescribed under the company regulations.
Terms of employment and remuneration
Three years renewable contract based on performance. An attractive remuneration package and appropriate performance based incentives will be provided to the right candidate.
